As you are now aware, following negotiations between the INMO/HSE chaired by the Workplace Relations Commission, settlement proposals have emerged in response to our four claims to improve the working environment in Emergency Departments. Information meetings, at which details of the settlement proposals will be given, will now take place in all 26 Emergency Departments.
All members are asked to attend these information meetings so that you are fully appraised of the details of the proposals prior to casting your ballot on same. The need for clarity, on the proposals, is all the more important due to the media comment, much of it incorrect, which has taken place in recent days.
To assist in your understanding of the proposals members will be provided, at these meetings, with the following:
