The INMO Executive Council, following detailed consideration, has decided to recommend that members should accept the proposed new Public Service Pay Agreement - Public Service Stability Agreement 2018 - 2020.
The Executive Council made the decision to recommend acceptance following detailed consideration, of the agreement, and, specifically, the clarifications the INMO has received in relation to how our pay issues, to address the recruitment/retention crisis, will be addressed.
The organisation has now commenced information meetings, and balloting, which will continue from today with the result known on Friday 15th September. Details of times and dates, of local information meetings and balloting, will be made known locally and will also be listed on the INMO website.
For your information and attention a briefing document, summarising the key elements of the agreement, can be accessed here. All members are asked to make every effort to familiarise themselves, with the terms of the proposed agreement, and to cast their ballot over the next two and a half weeks.
Thank you for your attention to this update.
