The Executive Council met today Friday (29th March) for their monthly scheduled meeting. They will next meet to discuss the Labour Court recommendation on our dispute over the new draft contracts. Our hearing at the Labour Court was on Monday this week, and we now expect to receive its recommendation mid-next week.
As a result, we have deferred the planned meeting of strike committees representatives until next Thursday (April 4th).
We remain determined to continue our work to secure a fair settlement to this dispute which improves staffing, raises your pay, and improves conditions for INMO members and patients alike.
Once we receive a Labour Court recommendation, we will ensure that you are fully informed and briefed before you are asked to ballot on the proposals.
