Update: PSA and Information Booklet
1st February 2024

A chara,

As outlined previously, your Executive Council has considered the new public sector pay agreement for public sector employees. Your Executive Council is recommending that members accept the proposals and vote yes.

An in-person ballot will commence next week alongside an information campaign. The ballot will close on March 15th, 2024. You can read a full information booklet (Q & A) on the proposal

We will be holding information meetings and in-person ballots over the coming weeks. Your local official will be in touch and dates will be posted on inmo.ie

The pay details of the new public service agreement include:

• A general round increase in annualised basic salary for all public servants of 2.25% or €1,125, whichever is greater, on 1 January 2024.

INMO Member Survey

We have launched our annual online survey, and we are urging members to take the time to complete this important questionnaire. The survey is designed to explore the experiences of nurses and midwives working in various healthcare settings across Ireland, and the information will be used to inform the INMO strategy for supporting and representing nurses and midwives.

The overall results will be published to highlight key issues facing your professions and will contribute to the professions' understanding of workplace conditions, stress, exhaustion, and its impact on nurses and midwives.

The survey is anonymous and is designed so information cannot be attributed to any individual. It will take approximately 9 minutes to complete INMO Member Survey

Is mise,

Phil Ní Sheaghdha
INMO General Secretary
