Condolences
7.4.20

On behalf of Ireland's nurses and midwives, the INMO wishes to express its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Beena George.

Beena was a nurse working in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda. She had been undergoing treatment for a long-term illness, which she faced with great dignity, sadly later contracting COVID-19.

The INMO has a strong bond with the community of Indian nurses working in Ireland, who have our sympathies during this difficult time. We have privately expressed sympathies to her colleagues, family and community.

She will be greatly missed by her colleagues in Drogheda. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
