The INMO has a strong, well-trained Industrial Relations team who are experienced in representing and defending members and improving their working conditions in both the public and private sector.
INMO members have free access to a variety of discount schemes, as well as a number of helplines, including a professionally staffed counselling helpline, a domestic assistance helpline, a 24-hour legal advice helpline.
The INMO Library Service is the largest such facility for nurses and midwives in this country and provides student and qualified members with access to professional literature and academic library resources to support their research and education.
Through Cornmarket, the Organisation offers a range of financial and insurance services to members,. Advice on finances, taxation, pensions, investments, are all available, free of charge to members, from Cornmarket.
The INMO has established Sections for each specialist area of nursing and midwifery, providing updates and training and networking opportunities that are relevant to your area of nursing and midwifery.

The INMO offers a comprehensive and confidential industrial relations service through highly qualified industrial relations officers (IROs). These officials represent members on collective and individual issues in local workplaces, in both the public and private sector.
The INMO is there for you throughout your degree and career. We offer free membership to undergraduate student nurses and midwives.
Through ARAG and Cornmarket INMO members have 24-hour access to a range of personal and mental health supports including legal advice, domestic assistance, and a digital mental health hub especially for nurses and midwives.
