Dear Health Worker & Colleague,
The European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), along with the European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS) are launching a survey to help better understand HIV knowledge and attitudes in healthcare settings across Europe and Central Asia.
Objectives:
- Acquire knowledge about the occurrence of HIV-related stigma and discrimination among healthcare facility staff.
- Comprehend the specific circumstances and contexts in which stigma and discrimination arise within healthcare settings, as well as to identify the underlying contributing factors.
- The generated knowledge can be used to guide how best to intervene and address individual and institutional drivers of HIV-related stigma.
If you work in a healthcare setting in Europe or Central Asia, you are invited to take this survey.
Click here to access the survey.
It consists of 18 questions and will take approximately 10 minutes. It is currently available in 38 languages.
The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland has granted ethical approval for this study in Ireland.
Thank you in advance for completing of this survey and for your worthy contribution to this research.
