The INMO Executive Council have called for the HSE and Government to come up with an immediate plan to tackle chronic dangerous overcrowding in our Emergency Departments. 

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation hs said a bespoke recruitment and retention plan is urgently needed. 

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation has called on hospital management in the Mater to act on dangerous understaffing and overcrowding conditions. 

Commenting on the publication of the HSE Winter Plan, the INMO has said removing the bureaucracy around recruitment must be core tenet of any winter plan.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation has expressed sympathies with the community of Creeslough, Co Donegal and offered full support to emergency workers.
