The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation celebrates its centenary today (Thursday), marking 100 years since its first meeting.

The INMO’s elected Executive Council has today (Wednesday) recommended that member vote to accept new proposals for safe staffing and pay changes, subject to the successful negotiation of a new contract.

The INMO’s elected Executive Council has today (Monday) suspended the upcoming strikes, following a recommendation from the Labour Court.

Nurses, midwives, friends, patients and supporters will march through Dublin from 12:30pm tomorrow (Saturday 9th Feb), in support of striking nurses and midwives.  The march will call on the government to make serious proposals to resolve the industrial dispute.
