Update on Ballot of Members employed by the Public Service
The INMO formally notified the Irish Congress of Trade Unions today that nurses and midwives employed by the public service voted to accept the proposals in the review of Building Momentum by 97%.
As previously advised, the proposals in this review included:

2nd February 2022: 3% increase on annualised salary to be back paid

1st March 2023: 2% increase on annualised salary.

1st October 2023: 1.5% increase or €750, whichever is the greater
This is in addition to the 1% or €500 increase due to members from the 1st of October 2022, as previously agreed.
Nurse Manager grades were notified this week that the circular to apply the 3.28% increase from February 1st 2022 has issued.
The INMO has written to the HSE this week to confirm that these payments will be made urgently.
Nominations - INMO National Safety Health & Welfare Representative
The Executive Council are seeking nominations for the role of INMO National Safety Health and Welfare Representative. Branches are invited to nominate active members with a good standing for the role using the nomination form below.
All nominations will be considered by the Council who will elect a national representative from those nominated. This is a representative role and experience of representing members at local level is essential.
The organisation will seek agreement for the National Representative to be released full-time to carry out the role without loss of pay or emoluments and at their existing grade.
All INMO members regardless of grade are eligible for nomination subject to the criteria set out above. Nomination forms should be returned to the office of the General Secretary, no later than the 24th October 2022 to
