The 2025 ICN Congress to be held in Helsinki, Finland, 9-13 June 2025. This international gathering of thousands of nurses will explore the theme: Nursing Power to Change the World!
Following in the footsteps of the ICN Congress in Montreal in 2023, the Helsinki Congress will provide opportunities for nurses to build relationships and to disseminate nursing knowledge and leadership across specialties, cultures and countries. Delegates will be able to hear and learn from expert speakers, governmental leaders, and influential trail-blazers!
The INMO will be formally represented at the ICN’s Congress by the President of the Organisation, Caroline Gourley, and the General Secretary Phil Ní Sheaghdha.
In keeping with past practice, the Executive Council will provide some assistance (to a maximum of €2,000) subject to criteria laid down by the Executive Council for two INMO members who may wish to travel to this worldwide gathering of nurses.
Criteria is as follows:
- The member must be fully paid up and have been in membership for at least three years.
- The applicant should have attended at least one annual delegate conference and/or have been active in local branch/workplace INMO activities
- Each applicant, before sign-off, must be the subject of support, from a local representative/branch/section officer to confirm their involvement in the Organisation’s day-to-day activities.
