Nurses & Midwives gather for INMO conference 3rd-5th May 2023

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation are holding their Annual Delegate Conference in the Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney on 3-5 May.

Over 350 delegates are expected to attend the organisation’s 104th Annual Delegate Conference. Over 50 motions will be debated on cost-of-living increases, housing, hospital overcrowding, safety in the workplace, domestic violence, recruitment and retention and more. 
The new CEO of the HSE, Bernard Gloster will address delegates on Thursday morning and the Minister for Health will address delegates on Friday morning.
 
An opening press conference will take place on Wednesday 3rd May 2022 at 12 pm in the Gleneagle with INMO General Secretary Phil Ní Sheaghdha and INMO President Karen McGowan. They will launch the results of the INMO’s Nursing and Midwifery Work and Wellbeing Survey 2023.
 
INMO Student and New Graduate Officer, Róisín O’Connell will launch the results of our annual Intern Survey on Thursday morning.
 
Friday May 5th is International Day of the Midwife. INMO Spokespeople will be available to speak on issues facing midwives at any point throughout the conference.
