Section 39 Organisations

Update on the discussions that took place at the Workplace Relations Commission on the 16th of October 2023 relating to our dispute on pay for our members working in those organisations. 

The INMO in conjunction with SIPTU and FORSA had served a Notice of Strike Action and Industrial Action on a number of organisations in pursuance of our claim for the terms of Building Momentum to be applied to our members working in these organisations.  

A proposal was negotiated under the auspices of the Workplace Relations Commission and the INMO Executive Council has decided that in the context of the proposals arrived at, which includes pay adjustments of 8% and a mechanism for determining future pay for workers in these organisations, that this proposal should be put to a ballot of members with a recommendation for acceptance. 

I wish to advise you that we will be organising Information Sessions and providing an opportunity for our members who are affected to ballot over the next three weeks.   We will be in contact to notify of exact locations of the balloting venues shortly.
