Update on Long COVID

Following notification from the HSE that the Special Leave With Pay (SLWP) Scheme would cease with effect from 31^st March 2024 the INMO and other Unions referred the matter to the Workplace Relations Commission.  We were successful in securing an extension to the SLWP Scheme up until 30^th June 2024 and a Circular has issued in respect of same.  This extension of the SLWP Scheme will be retrospective to April 1^st 2024 and will apply only to those individuals who were previously on the Scheme.

The conciliation process in the Workplace Relations Commission is ongoing and further developments in relation to this matter will be notified to concerned members.
