Member updates

We paused these regular update emails over the past weeks, as many members receive INMO correspondence via their HSE emails. We were advised not to send emails into the HSE email system due to the current difficulties following the IT hacking.

Many members have contacted us with queries on the ongoing rollout of the vaccinations for COVID. We have met with the HSE several times on this matter (as recently as this morning) and key updates on this and other matters are below.

Further to information issued on Sunday, AstraZeneca vaccinations were temporarily paused while concerns about blood clotting side effects were investigated.

The INMO has contacted the HSE following the National Immunisation Advisory Committee’s (NIAC) decision to suspend the AstraZeneca vaccine.

Fully paid-up INMO members who are directly employed by either the public sector or a section 38 organisation will have a vote next week on the next public sector pay proposals.

Just for your information, all members can begin registration via a dedicated HSE portal from Tuesday 09th of February 2021 prior to vaccination.  In advance of registration, we would ask all members to read important advice on what you need to have ready before you attempt to register.
